FG declares Oct 6, 7 public holidays for Eid-el-Kabir celebration

The Federal Government has declared Monday, 6 October and Tuesday, 7 October, 2014 as public holiday to mark the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, made the declaration, on Friday, on behalf of the government.

Moro, in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Magaji Abubakar, congratulated Muslims and enjoined them to join hands with President Goodluck Jonathan in his efforts at building a peaceful, united and virile nation.
